“It’s photography with soul - well that’s how I describe your work to others. It goes in the face of soulless stock imagery”

Hello!
Here’s a bit about me,
I’m a bit of an old soul. I live with my very understanding and lovely partner in Gloucestershire. She thinks I’m quirky and high maintenance (I like cream on my custard and tomatoes on the vine and will only eat fish and chips from one particular chippy in town).
We love the British coastline and go to Cornwall a lot. I take lots of photos of the public and British life; Fishermen, artisans, friends and people that live beyond the lines. They all have interesting stories!
I like to think that I move between the realms of brand work and in-depth human storytelling narratives and they often overlap. I love landscapes and our connection to them and interested in how we are moulded by our environment and community.
I strive to produce work that not only reflects an authentic vision but also fosters a vicseral bond between the subject and the audience. I like to produce cinematic, heroic photos that people can see something of themselves in.
I travel widely but like my own bed.
Oh, and I’m easy to work with (apparently)
Thanks Chris
A very ‘smiley’ photo of me
